Film and Stage Producer, Cloud Marketing

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Applicants in the County of Los Angeles or San Francisco who qualify under local fair‑chance ordinances may be considered. Preferred work locations include Sunnyvale, CA; Kirkland, WA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in creative production across platforms such as film, experiential, and broadcast.
  • Experience managing production vendors and agencies, negotiating rates, and authoring statements of work.
  • Proficiency with project‑management tools, techniques, and procedures.
  • Experience with production for creative events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading the development and execution of digital campaigns including websites, microsites, social media, and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and creating detailed project recaps and reviews.
  • Industry experience or familiarity with technology companies.
  • Understanding of experiential event production for physical, keynote, and interactive experiences.

About The Job

As a creative producer in Marketing, you will bring visual, design, written, and experiential acumen to Google Cloud products and services across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You will work in a flexible, ever‑changing environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and vendor partners to generate concepts that support major media formats. The role requires design, mock‑up, writing, prototyping, and creative feedback to push work forward. You will inspire and lead by example, helping to develop breakthrough creative aligned with the Google Marketing brand.

The position is part of a multidisciplinary team spanning strategy, content, creative, production, and technology, with a mission to showcase how Google Cloud solves everyday challenges through creative examples of our technology in action.

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive project plans, working closely with project leads, agencies, and other producers to ensure all deliverable dates and requirements are met.
  • Create, manage, and report on project status, including internal team schedules, budgets, and milestone achievements from concept and design through development and execution.
  • Initiate and manage all legal and financial documentation for vendors and productions, including Statements of Work (SOWs), and maintain fiscal health by monitoring budgets.
  • Develop and communicate a full grasp of project strategy to provide technical and creative guidance, ensuring clear narrative structure in all experiences.
  • Originate, streamline, and deliver processes and documentation for projects, including success metrics, analytics, long‑term governance models, and best practices.
