Mote Marine Laboratory Exhibit Design and Scientific Illustration Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium is seeking two creative interns to join our exhibit design team. The internship will have two concentrations: a traditional media focus, and a digital interactive design focus. Applicants may apply for one or both concentrations, but only one applicant will be selected per concentration. Interns will have the opportunity to complete an independent project that can be a set of science illustrations explaining a concept or scientific process, an exhibit design, an interactive exhibit, an augmented reality experience, a set of 3D models, or an equivalent project. Interns are expected to work well individually and as part of a team, be self‑motivated, and seek every opportunity to learn and improve Mote’s guest experience. In the application form, applicants should select Exhibit Design and Scientific Illustration as the first program choice, then specify their concentration preference in the cover letter.
