This position will be part of the Conversational Ad Experiences team within the Amazon Advertising organization. Our cross‑functional team focuses on designing, developing and launching innovative ad experiences delivered to shoppers in conversational contexts. We utilize leading‑edge engineering and science technologies in generative AI to help shoppers discover new products and brands through intuitive, conversational, multi‑turn interfaces. We empower advertisers to reach shoppers using their own voice to explain and demonstrate how their products meet shoppers’ needs. We collaborate with various teams across multiple Amazon organizations to push the boundary of what’s possible in these fields.
As a Principal Product Manager for the team, you will define the product strategy for the business, drive appropriate technology choices, lead continuous innovation, and shape the future of e‑commerce. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of the Amazon vision. You will guide the team’s roadmap and drive alignment with partner business, engineering, and science teams across Amazon on high‑profile projects that create new experiences for shoppers and advertisers. You will be instrumental in initiating greenfield projects and driving their development through all stages from inception to deployment.

Set a long‑term vision for conversational ads on Amazon.com and beyond
Launch high‑impact ad experiences that delight customers on Amazon.com and drive business success with advertisers
Manage roadmap prioritization and trade‑offs among customer experience, monetization, technical and operational lift, and competing priorities across multiple stakeholder teams
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of end‑to‑end product delivery experience
8+ years of technical product or program management experience
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
Ad Tech experience
Gen AI experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
