Brief Job Description:
The Family Based Recovery (FBR) Program Director
is responsible for all administrative and programmatic operations ensuring quality care through productive programming. Ensures that the program is a safe and welcoming environment demonstrating cultural, gender and trauma informed competency. The FBR Program Manager/Supervisor is responsible for collecting and maintaining parent/caregiver and program information to meet both the model’s and DCF’s reporting and evaluation requirements.
Additionally, oversees professional and administrative activities of FBR Clinicians and Family Support Specialists according to the model, and actively builds and maintains collaborative relationship with FBR MDO, DCF and other Stakeholders and community members.
Job responsibilities/duties:
Responsible for managing referrals, intake, case assignment, and maintaining staff schedules
Responsible for tracking timeliness of Intake, Treatment Planning/Progress Reviews, assessments, safety planning and drug screens
Supports and guides clinical development of the team through weekly group supervision/case review meetings, individual supervisions, and formalized clinician development planning
Oversight of client records ensuring thorough, quality and timely documentation
Compliance with all DCF contract and FBR MDO model requirements
Facilitate weekly Social Club
Compliance with agency quality assurance expectations
Attendance at key stakeholder/DCF/ Provider meetings, DCF Rounds, and other program relevant community meetings
Recruit, hire and develop quality, diverse staff; Track staff training requirements
Ensure compliance with state and local regulations (health, fire, safety)
Timely completion of annual evaluations
Provides emergency or direct service coverage for the clinicians as needed
Maintains and models open and transparent communication with staff, referral sources, FBR MDO and DCF Compliance Staff.

Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will meet the following education, licensure, and experience requirements and demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality, family-centered services:
Education: A Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required. Licensure: Candidates must hold a current professional license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. Preferred Licensure: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
Professional Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in clinical and/or substance use services working with children and families is required. Candidates must also have at least six (6) months of supervisory experience.
Salary:
$85,000.00 / per year
