Carilion Clinic, a not-for-profit healthcare organization serving nearly one million residents in western Virginia, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GI Hospitalist to join our growing teams at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, our flagship academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center.

Position Highlights:
- 100% inpatient GI practice; procedures and consultative care
- Seven-on/seven-off schedule for optimal work-life balance
- Collaborate with a dedicated and experienced team of gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and hospitalists
- Access to advanced endoscopic equipment and technology
- Academic appointment available with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
- Support for clinical research and teaching if desired
- J1 sponsorship available
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree with completion of a GI fellowship
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia
- Strong clinical skills and interest in inpatient GI care
- Commitment to team-based care and patient satisfaction
