An AD100 design studio specializing in high‑end residential, hospitality, and multifamily projects is seeking a Studio Director to join its West Hollywood team. The studio is a collaborative group of 8–10 designers and is looking for a seasoned professional to oversee design operations and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all design operations within the studio, ensuring creative and technical excellence.
• Act as a bridge between senior designers and principals, supporting collaboration and project success.
• Manage studio resources, budgets, and project allocations in weekly meetings with ownership.
• Conduct staff reviews and create development plans for team members.
• Partner with leadership on client presentations for large‑scale projects.
• Represent the studio externally through talks and industry engagements.
• Maintain oversight of projects across private residential, hospitality, and luxury multifamily (must have professional working experience within all three sectors). 
• Travel as needed (approximately a few days per month) for project site visits and client meetings.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience in interior design or architecture, with exposure to luxury residential, hospitality, and multifamily projects.
• Proven ability to manage design teams and studio operations.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting and resource planning (training available as needed).
