We are seeking a Technical Director of Pest Control to guide our pest control services with strategic vision and operational excellence. This key leadership position will ensure we meet the highest standards of pest management while complying with industry regulations. You will be a pivotal technical expert and leader, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction throughout our organization.
LOCATION: Candidates must reside in one of the following cities: Memphis, TN; Kansas City, MO; Dallas, TX; New Orleans, LA; Oklahoma City, OK.
Some travel will be required.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute the regional pest control strategy that aligns with our vision and considers emerging trends, risks, and client needs.
- Technical Oversight: Act as the subject matter expert for pest management protocols, ensuring adherence to national and regional regulations and best practices.
- Operational Support: Enhance Division goals related to customer service, quality, training, and retention by collaborating with regional leaders.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary technical contact for high-value accounts, providing expert advice and support in complex situations.
- Innovation & Technology: Collaborate with the Rollins Innovation team to identify and implement cutting-edge pest control technologies and solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with changes in legislation and industry standards, ensuring our practices are compliant and proactively addressing any gaps.
- Budget Management: Oversee the region’s technical budget, fostering cost-effective resource allocation to support growth.
- Incident Response & Investigation: Lead investigations into pest-related incidents and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as sales and marketing to align technical initiatives with overall organizational goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in entomology, biology, public health, environmental science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the pest control industry with direct technical leadership and field experience.
- Professional certifications such as Board Certified Entomologist (BCE), Certified Pest Control Operator (CPCO), or equivalent are preferred.
- Demonstrated record of regulatory compliance and safety management.
- Experience across diverse client industries such as food manufacturing, hospitality, and healthcare.
- Proven ability to introduce new technologies and methodologies in operational contexts.
- Strong capabilities in managing regional budgets and achieving commercial outcomes.

Physical Demands / Work Environment
- Candidates must reside within the ORKIN SOUTH CENTRAL DIVISION.
