What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside a U-Haul center
Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory effectively
Maintain and inspect equipment, including moving and hooking up trucks and trailers
Answer customer queries and educate them about available products and services
Prepare rental invoices and manage the return of equipment from rentals
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to adhere to safety precautions in a work environment with moderate risks
Punctuality and availability for scheduled work shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in customer service or related fields
Familiarity with rental equipment or moving services
Ability to operate a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
Interest in continuous education and professional development
Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance
