To learn more about UCI Health, visit Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The Senior Interface Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and providing on-going support of end-to-end integration solutions, ensuring the accurate and secure exchange of data between various software applications. The person in this role will design and build interfaces such as ADT, Results, Orders, Charges and other highly complex interface types, participate in the overall strategy for data integration projects, implement enhancement requests, and maintain existing interfaces in our production environment. In addition, serves as a resource for other interface developers on integration technology, standards, workflow and procedures. What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of the interface implementation process
- Strong understanding of FHIR/API/Web-Services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Participate in on-call rotation to support production interfaces
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Leadership skills to influence decisions and move initiatives forward
- Knowledge of Epic Vendor Services
- Extensive knowledge of the HL7 2.x messaging standard
- Experience with Epic Data Courier/Content Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
- Demonstrate appropriate customer service skills
- Be a self-starter and work both independently and collaboratively
- Adherence to internal coding and process standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects of various sizes
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Ability to build and maintain critical working relationships across the Health System
- 5 + years experience in healthcare interface programming
- 2+ years experience with Epic Bridges
- 2 + years experience programming in the Corepoint integration engine
- Understanding of ITIL for IT Service Management
- Understanding and experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Supported Epic Updates including use of Nova Notes
- Knowledge of data formats XML and JSON
- Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience integrating with HIE's
- Epic Data Courier Administration Certification
- Epic Bridges Certification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other IT discipline
- 1+ years' experience with Epic Data Courier Administration
- 1+ years' experience implementing Epic FHIR applications
