Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Laboratory EMR Interface QA Specialist to assist with testing, QA, and communication with clients during implementation of interfaces with client electronic medical record (EMR) systems. This role serves as the central point of communication between clients, EMR vendors, and the internal interface team to ensure that new EMR interfaces—or updates to existing ones—are implemented, tested, and deployed on time. The position emphasizes operational coordination, clear communication, and workflow support to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the exchange of laboratory data.
Pay: Starts at $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Act as one of the primary contacts between clients, EMR vendors, and the laboratory interface team during implementation and modification of new and existing EMR interfaces.
Communicate implementation timelines, milestones, and testing requirements to all stakeholders to ensure timely and successful deployments.
Organize and facilitate interface testing activities, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to laboratory standards.
Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to internal teams and clients on EMR‑related workflows.
Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), testing results, and communication logs for EMR‑related projects.
Collaborate with laboratory operations and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, elevate concerns, and ensure resolution.
Support compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CLIA, and organizational policies.
Assist in monitoring and reporting on interface performance, workflow efficiency, and user feedback.
Deliver excellent customer service by building positive relationships and ensuring client needs are met throughout the implementation process.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in healthcare, medical laboratory, or related field preferred.
Experience working in a healthcare, medical laboratory, or EMR‑related environment preferred.
Familiarity with EMR workflows and healthcare data processes; knowledge of HL7 or other healthcare data standards is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and operational efficiency.
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and cross‑functional teams in a healthcare setting.

Physical Requirements
Manual dexterity for office machine operation including computer operations, stooping, bending, mobility to complete errands, or sitting for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.

Hepatitis Vaccine Policy
It is our company policy to provide, free of charge, the Hepatitis Vaccine Series for all employees of the company who may be exposed to blood or body fluids. Employees will be counseled upon hire regarding the vaccination series. Upon signing the proper form, the employee will begin the series at the next scheduled vaccination day after hiring. The series will be administered by a nurse at a designated clinic or hospital. Documentation will be kept in the employee's permanent Personnel File. When necessary, the Medical Director will determine follow‑up protocol. Eligibility for the Hepatitis Vaccine will be decided by the employee's supervisor based on their possible exposure to blood or body fluids during job performance, such as (but not limited to) phlebotomy, sample handling, testing, courier of specimens, direct patient contact/care, janitorial services.
