FanDuel is seeking a
Lead Product Manager
to drive the strategy and execution for New Ventures, with a focus on delivering innovative, customer‑first solutions that drive engagement and business growth for
FanDuel Predicts , our new prediction markets product. In this role, you will lead initiatives across emerging product areas, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to shape and scale FanDuel’s presence in new markets and opportunities.
As a key contributor, you will work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, and Data Science teams to define and execute a cohesive product vision. You will also play a pivotal role in cross‑functional flywheel initiatives, leveraging insights and synergies across FanDuel's ecosystem to maximize the impact of New Ventures within the broader business strategy. This is a unique opportunity to explore, experiment, and deliver groundbreaking solutions that expand FanDuel’s reach and influence across digital and retail platforms.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision : Define product vision with the Senior Director of NV Product and communicate strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals across products. Collaborate with stakeholders to create roadmaps, prioritize features, and address user needs using insights from customer research, competitive trends, and business context.
Metrics and Strategic Oversight : Establish and track success metrics at initiative and pillar levels, ensuring alignment with OKRs. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure team efforts align with company strategy while fostering collaboration and growth.
Industry and Product Expertise : Demonstrate deep knowledge of product features, user journeys, and industry trends. Stay informed on market shifts, competitors, and emerging technologies to refine the product roadmap and inspire teams.
Customer Empathy and Research : Develop a strong understanding of user personas, pain points, and behaviors through collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Conduct research and usability testing to identify gaps and deliver actionable strategies that enhance the customer experience.
Data Fluency and Solutioning : Use analytics tools to evaluate user behavior, product performance, and opportunities. Lead ideation, experimentation, and risk‑mitigation activities, including A/B testing and concept validation, to deliver impactful solutions aligned with KPIs.
Feature Specification and Delivery : Define and document requirements for features of varying complexity. Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on scope, feasibility, and acceptance criteria while balancing tradeoffs to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Product Quality and Risk Management : Ensure quality outputs by driving rigorous review processes and managing dependencies. Triage and prioritize bugs, implement risk mitigation strategies, and act as the escalation point for blockers to enable smooth execution.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration : Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Effectively communicate product value and facilitate workshops to align on goals and drive decision‑making.
Influence and Presentation : Deliver concise, action‑oriented communication and confidently present to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, to secure buy‑in and remove roadblocks.
Inspiring and Leading Teams : Motivate and guide cross‑functional teams to achieve goals while fostering a culture of excellence. Mentor team members and support their development through coaching and alignment with company values.
Qualifications
7+ years of product management experience
Passion for sports betting and sport‑adjacent products
Technical experience and experience working with third‑party engineering parties
Experience taking products from zero to one
Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
Commercial acumen in valuing new opportunities and budgeting
Critical thinking and ability to proactively make brave trade‑off decisions
Strong communicator who can work alongside commercial teams to write, drive, and deliver strategy

Compensation and Benefits Overview The applicable salary range for this position is $138,000 – $190,300 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation; paid personal time off; 14 paid company holidays; and paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
