Job Description The Director of Football Recruiting/Player Personnel oversees all aspects of recruiting and all related employees to coordinate all efforts in strategy, evaluations, and retention. This position supervises the Assistant Recruiting Coordinator and personnel/recruiting student assistants. This position develops recruiting strategies specific to annual goals; manages and monitors the recruiting calendar, on campus recruiting efforts, transfer portal, and recruitment budget; coordinates game day recruit schedule, and performs other duties assigned by the Head Coach.

The Director of Recruiting/Player Personnel is responsible for adhering to compliance, policies and procedures of the Athletic Department, University of Toledo, NCAA and MAC.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree required

Supervisory Experience Preferred

Division I college coaching experience preferred

Must be highly recommended by references

Communication and other skills

Must be a proven, successful recruiter

Ability to effectively communicate and counsel student-athletes on requirements for personal conduct, academic performance and athletic performance.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical behavior.

Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the University, MAC and NCAA.
