Hospitalist Medical Director
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our hospital medicine program within a dynamic, growing health system. This leadership role offers the chance to oversee a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers while shaping the future of hospitalist services in a vibrant community.
Position Highlights:
Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and administrative oversight for a team of hospitalists
Collaborate with department chairs, nursing leadership, and executive administration to enhance quality of care, patient safety, and operational efficiency
Balance administrative duties with direct clinical care responsibilities
Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and physician recruitment/retention strategies
Opportunity to teach residents and medical students through an academic partnership
Qualifications:
Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Minimum of 3 5 years of hospitalist practice experience; prior leadership/administrative experience preferred
Strong commitment to evidence-based medicine, team-based care, and continuous program improvement
Excellent communication and organizational skills
