Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Duties:
Lead and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services in a safe, efficient manner.
Direct the center's Infection Control process and participate in the QA/CQI process.
Manage preadmission assessments, ensuring they are completed promptly.
Supervise, educate, and coach nursing and caregiving staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Participate in state/federal nursing home survey processes, writing and implementing plans of correction as needed.
Develop and implement in-service and training programs to enhance staff skills.
Maintain clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Requirements:
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license.
Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting, preferably as an ADON.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a customer service focus.
In-depth knowledge of nursing skills and the ability to understand the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
