ABOUT THE POSITION & ITS IMPACT The Admissions Specialist is responsible for shepherding clients into our various clinical programs. Partnering with clients, the Admissions Specialist learns the history, needs, background and interests of the clients to match the best clinical program that would serve their therapeutic needs. This position has a direct line to the client, their families, referents and other stakeholders working in partnership with clinical and operational leaders to ensure a great experience.

ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY IN THIS ROLE:

Communicate directly with clients, potential clients, families and supporters of potential clients along with their existing counseling and support network to educate and inform them of our services, clinical methodologies, programs, residential, workshop, concierge and other approaches to meet their needs

Work with business development staff to build mutually beneficial relations with professional referents to present our services

Leverage knowledge of clinical methodologies and therapeutic modalities along with knowledge of recovery, 12-step principles, interventions and more in evaluating client’s history, family of origin, trauma and self-detrimental behaviors

Make sound financial decisions on the organization’s willingness and ability to provide scholarships, discounts and other financial incentives that best support the client and the organization’s goals

Requirements IDEAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE: We are open to candidates of all backgrounds, experience and education levels. After all, years of experience is just a number. That said, we believe that candidates with the following backgrounds will be well-suited to succeed in this role:

High school education with Bachelor’s degree preferred

2-4 years in Marketing, Sales, Admissions or similar experience highly preferred

In-depth knowledge of clinical modalities and methods, 12-step or recovery process, interventions and more

Excellent verbal, written and persuasive communication skills
