Job Summary The

Transportation Analyst (Freight Forwarding & Brokerage Services)

will procure transportation and freight forwarding services to enable the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.

This role is located in Morton IL and does not offer relocation

This role is 1st shift

This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules

This role requires up to 5% domestic travel

What You Will Do

Procure transportation and freight forwarding services and ensure market competitiveness

Develop and maintain supplier relationships (business review meetings)

Negotiate master service agreements and scope of works with providers

Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on contract and rate status.

Generating and analyzing reports of spend, provider performance and market trends.

Assisting in the development of process flows automation

What You Have (Required Skills)

Analytical Thinking:

Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Data Gathering & Analysis:

Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Planning and Organizing:

Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
