Job Description
Provide legal advice and guidance on property management legal matters.
Handle landlord‑tenant law issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
Review, draft, and negotiate real estate contracts and agreements.
Advise on affordable housing compliance and related legal requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal concerns.
Manage legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate potential issues.
Support litigation and dispute resolution processes as needed.
Stay current with changes in real estate and housing laws.

The Successful Applicant A successful Interim Legal Counsel - Real Estate should have:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
Immediate availability.
Strong knowledge of property management legal issues and landlord‑tenant law.
Familiarity with affordable housing regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
