Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing**This position is responsible for all aspects of customer service; receiving and processing orders, direct communication with our customers, follow up and problem solve orders when necessary, and provide efficient and professional service to our customers.* Receive and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.* Respond to customer inquiries professionally, directing them appropriately when needed.* Manage incoming calls, communicate order confirmations, and update customers on order status.* Enter customer and job data into JWS and coordinate deliveries with freight carriers for optimal efficiency.* Collaborate with customers, drivers, Sales, and Plant personnel; provide after-hours support as needed, including during inclement weather.* Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM and rotational Saturdays 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM.**What Are We Looking For*** Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Proficiency in using business systems and tools to support customer service functions.* Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.* Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement.**Experience and Skills*** Bilingual in Spanish; customer service and sales experience preferred.* Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.* Proficiency in Windows-based programs, JWS, and SAP systems.* Knowledge of aggregates or construction materials helpful.* High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or additional training preferred.**Work Environment**This role is based in an office setting within an aggregates operation. It may require occasional visits to plant or site locations. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on delivering exceptional service to our customers.**Physical Demands of the Job*** Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.* Occasional walking on uneven surfaces during site visits.* May require lifting or carrying office supplies or small packages (up to 25 lbs).* Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.* Visual and auditory ability to respond to customer inquiries and communicate effectively.**What We Offer*** Hourly $24/hr* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
