Position Overview
This is a part‑time role with variable hours based on seasonality. The ideal candidate is comfortable adapting to changing workloads and enjoys fast‑paced customer interactions. Peak Season (March–September): ~30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–2:00pm CST Off Season (October–February): ~20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–12:00pm CST As Eco Fishing Shop continues to grow, this role may evolve into a full‑time position for the right person. Key Responsibilities
Handle high call volume inbound customer service inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm Assist customers via phone, email, and chat with orders, product questions, shipping updates, and post‑purchase support Provide an exceptional customer experience focused on happiness, trust, and long‑term retention Navigate and manage orders within Shopify Log and manage customer interactions using CRM systems Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and accurately Maintain a calm, friendly demeanor even during busy peak‑season days Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a high call volume environment Strong communication skills with a warm, personable phone presence Experience using Shopify is strongly preferred Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer support tools Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable multitasking A genuine desire to help customers and represent the Eco Fishing Shop brand positively Experience in e‑commerce, outdoor, or fishing‑related industries is a plus (but not required) Compensation
