We’re seeking a motivated, service-driven professional to join our team as a
Production Agent or Production Agent Trainee , depending on experience. This role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the insurance industry while supporting clients with personalized risk management solutions across personal lines, small commercial accounts (under $3,000 in revenue), and individual Life & Health clients.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels)
Support the design and implementation of customized risk management programs for assigned clients
Assist with or independently manage client servicing, renewals, and new business according to agency procedures
Review policies, contracts, and coverage to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reduced E&O exposure
Coordinate resolution of claim coverage issues, audits, and appraisals while keeping clients informed
Arrange payment terms in accordance with agency credit and collections policy
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal team members
Maintain accurate electronic account files and utilize agency management systems
Stay current on industry trends, products, and best practices
Participate in professional and community organizations to promote FNIC and the insurance industry
Production Agent Trainee In addition to the core responsibilities, trainees will...
Participate in a structured training and mentoring program covering all aspects of the Production Agent role
Learn how to solicit and cultivate qualified prospects, schedule appointments, complete applications, and assist with sales presentations
Support a book of business under guidance while developing technical, sales, and client relationship skills
Provide front-desk or office support
Production Agent (Experienced / Independent) In addition to the core responsibilities, Production Agents will...
Independently manage and service a dedicated book of business while meeting department service standards
Handle inside sales for accounts under $3,000 in agency revenue, including prospecting, quoting, and binding coverage
Pass warm leads outside their expertise or revenue threshold to Sales Executives or Sales Leaders
Negotiate coverage terms, prepare proposals, bind coverage, and invoice premium-bearing transactions
Mentor and support team members as needed
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long‑term retention and satisfaction

What do I need to know?
You have to have...
High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred for experienced roles)
Valid driver’s license
Strong computer and technical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to build effective working relationships
Regular and consistent attendance
Additional Requirements for Production Agent (Experienced)
Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license
5+ years of professional experience (3+ years in insurance preferred)
CIC, CPCU, or similar designations (preferred)
Ability to independently manage workflows, mentor others, and maintain confidentiality
Note:
This position will be hired as either a
Production Agent Trainee or Production Agent , depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the trainee role, while experienced professionals may be hired directly as a Production Agent.
