Unity Environmental University seeks a dynamic, outcomes-driven Director of Recruitment for Career Edge to lead enrollment growth of Unity’s 90-Credit Applied Bachelor’s programs. This strategic role drives revenue through both direct‑to‑student recruitment and innovative B2B partnerships, while ensuring every prospective student experiences Unity’s mission‑driven approach from first contact through enrollment. Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution: design and execute comprehensive annual and term‑based recruitment strategies with enrollment goals by program, market segment, and start date. Partnership Development: identify, negotiate, and manage strategic employer partnerships that generate qualified leads and cohort opportunities, and develop and maintain articulation agreements with feeder institutions. Operations & Student Experience: serve as primary liaison between Career Edge SEBU and Education Enterprise units to ensure seamless processes, oversee efficient credit transfer and pre‑evaluation processes, and align all recruitment activities with Unity’s multiple‑start annual calendar. Lead Management & Technology: own end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle management in Salesforce Education Cloud, build comprehensive dashboards, forecast to goals, and deliver weekly progress reporting with actionable insights. Team Leadership & Development: hire, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of recruiters, provide program briefs, and foster a collaborative culture that embodies Unity’s service orientation and environmental mission. Outreach & Events: lead high‑impact recruitment events and omnichannel outreach campaigns, activate alumni networks and student ambassadors for referral programs, and appear on camera and engage across social media with confidence. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree 3+ years of progressive experience in recruitment and/or sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals Proficiency with Salesforce and/or working CRM knowledge and analytics Leadership and supervisory experience Exceptional relationship‑building, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence across academic and administrative units Excellent initiative and organizational skills with ability to work both autonomously and in a team Great time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills Ability and willingness to work with students from diverse political/socioeconomic backgrounds and a wide range of physical and academic abilities Good skills in word processing, spreadsheets and computerized database systems Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University Ability to function effectively within a matrix organizational structure Valid Maine Driver’s License with a good driving record Ability to travel regularly and work evenings/weekends as needed Preferred: Master’s degree Proven ability to design and execute data‑driven recruitment plans across multiple program portfolios and start dates Salesforce user with end‑to‑end lead‑lifecycle management experience in an analogous B2B/B2C setting Demonstrated success engaging adult learners in online applied bachelor’s programs Experience creating and closing B2B employer partnerships and developing articulation agreements Experience in sustainability, environmental sciences, or mission‑aligned sectors Knowledge of state authorization considerations and best practices in undergraduate enrollment Location

Work hours are specific to the requirements of this position and can include days, evenings, weekends. Working extended hours may be required as needed. Physical Demands
