The base compensation range varies across locations.Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $137,900 USD - $256,100 USD.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. As the U.S. election product manager, you will play a crucial role in the understanding, processing and ingestion of election results from across the U.S.Applicants should have experience working on prior U.S. elections and understand the details of how elections work in the United States. Candidate should have a strong grasp of collecting and publishing vote count, as well as familiarity with web-scraping, data feeds, delivery and file formats: XML, JSON, APIs and other current technologies.This position does not include news reporting on or a detailed knowledge of politics, but candidate should be familiar with key election concepts such as “swing states,” “opinion polling,” “voting patterns,” “expected vote,” as well as the importance of vote types such as, “absentee, early-vote, mail-in” within a county or state. **About the Role**As a **Senior Product Manager**, **US Elections**, you will:- Research voting processes in individual counties and all 50 states and turn those into actionable requirements for processing the Vote Count.
