Our client, a 300+ bed hospital, located in the Destin, FL area, has a need for a Director of Emergency Services to join their team. The Director over the main ED and 2 FSEDs and will be opening a 3rd this year.
-# of ER Beds: 40
-Trauma level: 2
-Volume: 120-125 a day
-2 FSEDs – 12 beds each
-Acuity level: primary stroke, stemi
-Reports to CNO who used to be an ED director.
Reporting Structure -# FTEs: 64 at main
-# managers: 2 at main
Director of Emergency Services
ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s) and department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director of Emergency Services fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or other approved education plan Required
Bachelor's degree in nursing Required
Master's Degree Preferred
