Director of Logistics
Position Overview
The Director of Logistics leads all logistics, material handling, and warehouse operations to support construction projects. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate tracking, and efficient storage of materials, equipment, and supplies across job sites and warehouse facilities. The position is both strategic and hands‑on, focused on driving operational efficiency and project success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with construction schedules and project needs
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, freight carriers, and vendor coordination
Lead warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, staging, and material distribution
Implement inventory control and maintain accurate tracking and reporting
Analyze logistics performance metrics to improve delivery times, costs, and efficiency
Recruit, train, and lead logistics and warehouse staff
Ensure compliance with safety, transportation, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations (construction industry strongly preferred)
Proven leadership and team development skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
Experience with logistics, inventory, or ERP systems preferred
