Regional Field Service Manager – Remote (San Francisco, CA)

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
Drive Customer Satisfaction by advocating for the customer through service calls, installations, and resolving high‑pressure issues, including product performance escalations, with a focus on “first‑time fix.”
Leverage strong communication and listening skills to exceed customer expectations, understanding customer perception and associated business impacts commercially, resolving issues rapidly while demonstrating business acumen.
Create a culture of ownership and accountability – ensuring associates understand their objectives and are provided tools and guidance to succeed, building the best team via associate development and by retaining and recruiting the best talent.
Develop a robust continuous improvement and accountability culture centered around daily management and monthly KPI’s.
Ensure all processes are documented and improved via kaizen (VSM, TPI, etc.), acting as the primary customer of Danaher Business System (DBS) and leveraging internal and external DBS expertise to map improvement plans and drive sustainable improvements.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
Bachelor’s degree
9+ years’ experience in field service
3+ years’ experience in customer‑facing roles
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Up to 90% flying and/or driving travel, which may include overnight stays, short‑notice and extended periods; primarily domestic with occasional international travel.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs.; stand, walk (prolonged), sit; squat, kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.
It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess Previous Experience In
Supervisory experience
Troubleshooting and repair on medical laboratory instruments
Benefits & Compensation Annual salary range: $125,000.00 – $145,000.00 USD. The range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) for eligible employees.
