Associate Dean Program Director Physical Therapist Assistant
The Associate Dean Program Director is responsible for the overall successful operation of the School of Physical Therapist Assistant. Key duties include academic leadership, curriculum development and management, ensuring compliance with program and institutional accreditation standards, faculty supervision, student recruitment and advising, budget oversight, strategic planning, teaching and administration. This leadership position requires a strong clinical foundation as a Physical Therapist, leadership experience, and a dedicated focus on advancing the program and supporting student success. Other information: Physical Therapist with an unencumbered license to practice in the state of Arkansas and who is in compliance with the Physical Therapy state practice act. Minimum of a Master’s Degree Minimum of five years, full-time post licensure experience that includes full-time clinical experience; teaching experience in the classroom, lab or clinical setting; experience in administration, management and leadership. Within 30 days of hire, must provide evidence of a minimum of 60 contact hours of professional development or education comprising exclusively and comprehensively the 4 content areas of education theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation and outcome assessment.
