We are seeking an experienced Hearing Care Sales Specialist in
Manchester, CT,
who will guide patients through the entire care lifecycle, from their initial consultation to selecting the right hearing aid. In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Conducting Comprehensive Hearing Evaluations:
Our comprehensive assessments determine the type and degree of hearing loss. These tests include air and bone conduction, Speech Reception Threshold (SRT), Loudness Discomfort Level (LDL), Most Comfortable Loudness (MCL), and speech audiometry.
Providing Hearing Aid Fittings and Adjustments:
The Hearing Care Sales Consultant makes product recommendations to patients based on their hearing loss and lifestyle. Once purchased, the Hearing Care Sales Consultant will fit prospective patients with the hearing instruments.
Managing Patient Care and Education:
Our team provides recommendations for follow-up care, including a checkup schedule, cleaning, and adjustment procedures. And, as part of our exclusive BelCare service commitment, Hearing Care Consultants commit to providing patients with the highest standard of service across the Beltone Nationwide Network of Care.
Providing Community and Patient Education:
Our team has a passion for educating patients and caregivers about hearing healthcare. This includes actively engaging with the local community and, as needed, referring patients to physicians and rehabilitative services to ensure a successful patient care outcome.
Driving the Clinic's Financial Success:
Ultimately, our Hearing Care Sales Consultants are responsible for achieving revenue targets and financial success within a defined sales territory. They manage the financial management and reporting for their office using the company's best practices and standard procedures.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and proven experience translating technical and/or medical terminology to non-technical audiences. Additionally, you must have prior experience in a quota-carrying sales role. Additional experience desired includes:
Licensure as a Hearing Care provider (preferred; not required)
Experience navigating a CRM (Client/Customer Relationship Management system)
Familiarity with insurance and/or medical billing processes
