Entry Level ACH Coordinator – State Auditor's Office – Kanawha County
Salary: $37,000 yearly
Job Summary: An entry level position where the employee manages various operational tasks and ensures compliance with financial regulations, office policies, and procedures. The position requires a strong service‑oriented mindset, the ability to adapt seamlessly to various systems, software, and applications, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities
Meet daily, weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly deadlines to ensure operations run smoothly.
Manage and input data into various state applications for electronic payment requests.
Mitigate fraudulent payments through established policies and procedures.
Provide administrative support, including answering emails, phone inquiries, ordering supplies, and handling mail.
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
Process state payment offsets and ensure compliance with program requirements, reporting collections daily to the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Process and establish vendor payment offsets submitted by state agencies.
Collaborate with stakeholders daily.
Assist with division projects, system testing, and other duties as needed and assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor's degree in banking, finance, business administration, or related field preferred; 2+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Analytical, technical, adaptability, and critical thinking skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong understanding of file formats and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Self‑starter, dependable, fast learner.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
