Medical Director Pediatric Surgery plus General Pediatric Surgery Position

Hoops Family Children´s Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital, part of the Marshall Health Network provides multidisciplinary support from pediatric hospitalists, neonatologists, and pediatric anesthesia

• $750K base salary with lucrative sign on bonus plus occurrence based malpractice
  
• Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
  
• Eligibility for an unrestricted West Virginia Medical License
  
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and quality improvement, and a collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively across disciplines and departments
  
• Both General Surgery Department and Pediatric Department are looking for a dynamic Pediatric Surgeon to grow and develop the Pediatric Surgery Department
  
• Pediatric Hospital has 36 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care unit, 25 bed general Pediatrics unit, 10 bed Pediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Therapeutic unit
  
• General Surgery department with 23 faculty members including General Surgery, Trauma/Critical Care, Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Otolaryngology Surgery
  
• 100% Pediatric Surgery
  
• Pediatric Department of 35 Full Time Physicians with Full Complement of Pediatric Sub-Specialists
  
• Medical School offers training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents / fellows on campus working alongside 400 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care
  
• Fully accredited General Surgery residency with four graduates annually
  
• Residency programs in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics and fellowship programs in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  
• 750 plus bed healthcare network includes two teaching hospitals and a Pediatric hospital committed to improving the health of over 1 million children and adults
  
• Fully accredited General Surgery residency
  
• Fully accredited Level II Trauma Center
  
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training
