Save Job

We are a fast-growing SaaS company on a mission to propel the restoration industry forward by empowering restoration contractors with the technology they need to scale and grow their businesses. Recognized as a Top 10 Startup in Chicago by LinkedIn

and a Top Startup by Built In

for two consecutive years, and backed by Y Combinator , we are entering our next phase of accelerated growth. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team at a pivotal moment and make a meaningful impact.

We believe a picture tells a thousand words. We're building a visual-first marketing team—one where design leads the conversation, not follows it. We're looking for a Creative Lead to own that vision.

You'll work hand in hand with the Head of Marketing to set the creative tone for Albi and execute a visual-first communication strategy across everything we put into the world. This means translating complex ideas into clear, compelling visuals. It means evolving our brand with intention. It means building the systems and standards that allow great design to scale.

This role is equal parts strategist and maker. Today, you're hands-on—crafting high value decks, infographics, and motion graphics that tell our story with clarity and craft. Tomorrow, you're leading a creative team that is transforming how we talk about the restoration industry. The balance will shift as we grow, but the standard never drops.

Key Responsibilities Brand & Creative Strategy

Own and evolve Albi's visual identity—set the creative tone across all external touchpoints

Establish and maintain visual guidelines, quality standards, and brand consistency

Build scalable design systems—templates, component libraries, and self-serve tools—so the organization can create on-brand materials without bottlenecks

Partner with marketing leadership to shape how we communicate visually to customers and the industry.

High-Impact Creative

Design high value decks and board presentations that tell our story with clarity and impact

Create infographics and visual narratives that make complex ideas feel intuitive

Oversee and develop motion graphics and animated explainers that bring our brand to life

Oversee and polish video content from raw footage into cohesive, on‑brand pieces

Team Leadership

Manage and mentor a small team, elevating their craft

Create the playbooks and processes that allow the creative function to scale without sacrificing quality

Key Qualifications

6–8+ years in design roles with increasing scope and creative ownership

A portfolio that demonstrates range and excellence—brand systems, pitch decks, motion graphics, and data visualization

Experience managing or mentoring designers

Mastery of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Video editing & After Effects proficiency (Premiere Pro or equivalent)

Proven ability to translate complex, technical ideas into clear, elegant visuals

Experience building design systems and templates that scale

Strong convictions about craft, held with openness to feedback and iteration

You’ll Thrive Here If

You'd rather show than tell—and believe design should lead, not decorate

You're curious about industries beyond your own and see unfamiliar territory as an opportunity

You take ownership of outcomes, not just activities

Competitive salary ($115,000–$135,000) with performance-based bonus tied to pipeline contribution

Good balance of personal autonomy and team collaboration on projects

Working with a team of smart, kind humans passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems

Be in an environment where your input is highly valued and personal growth is prioritized

Interesting and challenging work

Generous PTO

Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage

Regular team events and off‑sites

Equipment budget – everything you need to do your best work

Continuing education, mentoring, and career development opportunities
