About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its residential care facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring the highest standards of care and service for the elderly residents. This includes managing staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment. The Executive Director will also be involved in budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning to enhance the quality of life for the residents and the overall success of the community.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years of college education and at least three years of experience in providing residential care to the elderly, or equivalent education and experience as approved by the Department of Social Services. A valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising and managing employees, be proficient in MS Office, and have knowledge of assisted living and dementia care. The role demands a compassionate individual who can work effectively with seniors, including those with cognitive impairments, and who is adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and communication. A Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests are mandatory, and the role may require adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols.
