This position focuses on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) operations, including policy development, monitoring, tuning, and incident response. The role plays a critical part in protecting sensitive and regulated data across enterprise environments, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. Experience 35 Years of experience in cybersecurity operations, DLP, or related security roles Key Responsibilities Security Monitoring & DLP Operations * Lead and support enterprise-wide Data Loss Prevention initiatives, including global environments * Monitor, investigate, and respond to potential data loss incidents * Administer, tune, and maintain DLP technologies across on-prem, cloud, SaaS, and endpoint environments * Develop, update, and enforce DLP policies and operational playbooks * Adapt DLP controls using threat intelligence and evolving risk patterns * Review new system deployments to ensure DLP integration and compliance * Document incidents, investigations, and remediation steps for audits and process improvement * Collaborate with IT and security teams to automate DLP alerts and response workflows * Provide off-hours support to ensure continuous data protection coverage Incident Response * Monitor DLP alerts across email, web, endpoint, and cloud platforms * Distinguish between real incidents and false positives * Investigate user activity and data movement related to alerts * Assess incidents for accidental, negligent, or malicious behavior * Escalate high-risk incidents to appropriate internal stakeholders * Contain active threats by restricting access or isolating affected systems * Maintain detailed case documentation and incident records * Recommend awareness training or policy improvements as needed * Track and report incident metrics and trends * Support audits, compliance reviews, and policy updates Emerging Threat Monitoring * Stay current on cybersecurity threats, trends, and techniques impacting data protection * Proactively adjust DLP strategies to address emerging risks Service Desk & Incident Management * Assist in investigating and resolving security-related issues * Support coordination between security operations and service desk teams Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelors degree in a relevant field * 35 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or DLP-focused roles * Strong understanding of Data Loss Prevention concepts and tools * Experience monitoring DLP across email, web, endpoint, and cloud platforms * Knowledge of incident response workflows and case management * Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to data protection * Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills Assignment Details * Role: Cybersecurity Operations Analyst DLP * Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite local candidates preferred) * Employment Type: Full-time * Contract Duration: Jan 2026 to Mar 2026 (with potential extension) * Interviews: 2 Rounds * Open Positions: Multiple * Work Authorization: US Citizens Only
