Role Overview
As the Global Partner Marketing leader for Technology Partners, you will develop and execute a comprehensive partner marketing strategy with hyperscalers, Business Data Cloud ecosystem partners, incubation partners, and AI partners. You will work across SAP to drive engagement, accelerate partner and SAP pipeline growth, and lead a team to achieve revenue growth through technology partnerships. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the global technology partner marketing strategy to grow SAP’s presence and influence among technology partner ecosystems. Identify new market opportunities and define innovative marketing strategies to enhance SAP’s value proposition to technology partners and accelerate mutual growth. Design and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to drive demand of partner applications via hyperscaler marketplaces. Work directly with technology partners to co‑create marketing programs and campaigns that maximize their success with SAP solutions. Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive go‑to‑market campaigns targeting technology partners to increase adoption of SAP solutions, drive joint product offerings, and expand the reach of SAP’s partner ecosystem. Leverage data and market insights to continuously refine and optimize marketing programs. Define and implement the roadmap for business strategy inputs to optimize co‑sell motions, including commerce initiatives. Represent SAP as a partner marketing leader in industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder engagements. Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing global partner marketing team to deliver exceptional results and foster professional growth. Establish clear KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of partner marketing initiatives. Optimize marketing development funds and marketing program spend and resources. Report regularly to senior leadership on the status, performance, and ROI of marketing programs and initiatives. Own the global partner marketing budget for technology partners and ensure optimal allocation of resources to high‑impact initiatives. Demonstrate a data‑driven approach to prioritize investments that will drive the greatest business impact with technology partners. Qualifications
15+ years of marketing and leadership experience, with a focus on partner marketing, channel marketing, or ecosystem development. 5+ years of experience driving successful marketplace strategies and scale demand generation via commercial transactions and advanced business models such as cloud revenue commitments and discount programs. Proven track record of leading global marketing programs in collaboration with strategic partners (preferably ISVs or hyperscalers) at the executive level. Strong analytical skills and ability to use data and insights to drive decisions. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong understanding of SAP’s products, cloud offerings, and digital transformation initiatives, or a willingness to learn. Ability to lead and inspire a global, cross‑functional team and drive results in a matrixed environment.
