Barton Campus GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CDC-Child Development Ctr department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Serve as Director of the Greenville Technical College Child Development Center (CDC). Responsible for ensuring the administration fiscal accountability, personnel management, facility utilization and enrollment follow state and college policy and procedures and NAEYC quality criteria is maintained for accreditation. Responsibilities include the management and supervision of of the CDC staff, providing leadership to the program. Maintaining quality care through leadership, guidance, and operations. Communicate effectively with staff and clients (families) of the Child Development Center. Communicate and work alongside with Greenville Technical College leadership about operations and effective practices. Accurately schedule staff to operate the CDC efficiently using best practices in the field. Collaborate with the Early Childhood Department Academic program to ensure the two programs align in curriculum content. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, Education, or related academic degree plus three (3) years relevant program experience in a licensed childcare program. 1 Year experience in a management role or position. Knowledge of NAEYC's Early Childhood accreditation criteria and guidelines.
