Position Summary
The MSL/Senior MSL for the North East region serves as a medical and scientific expert, supporting the clinical and scientific exchange for Inhaled Treprostinil (YUTREPIA) in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and Pulmonary Hypertension in Interstitial Lung Disease (PH-ILD). This role requires strong knowledge of the PAH/PH-ILD landscape and collaboration across Liquidia's functions, reporting to the VP of Medical Affairs.
Job Requirements
Advanced scientific degree or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in PH or pharmaceutical/biotech settings. Experience in pulmonary hypertension, cardiology, pulmonology, or critical care preferred. At least 3 years as an MSL or similar role. Established relationships with PH stakeholders preferred. Willingness to travel domestically up to 60%. Job Responsibilities
Increase awareness of Liquidia and YUTREPIA within the PAH/PH-ILD communities. Develop and execute strategic KOL engagement plans. Collaborate with clinical operations to support study sites and optimize trial recruitment. Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, investigators, and healthcare professionals. Serve as a scientific resource for the medical community in PAH and PH-ILD. Deliver presentations and stay current with PH literature. Represent Liquidia at national and regional conferences, providing insights on the competitive landscape. Gather and share medical insights and competitive intelligence; collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and Payor Insights teams. Maintain and prioritize a list of external stakeholders. Participate in advisory groups, steering committees, and internal project teams as needed. Identify and engage stakeholders for medical initiatives and support execution plans. Complete administrative tasks and documentation accurately and on time. Foster effective partnerships with medical affairs, clinical development, and cross-functional teams. Operate effectively in a matrix environment, delivering value to internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies. Utilize analytics to inform decisions and accelerate execution.
