Provide janitorial service to rest rooms/locker rooms in industrial areas at the St. Louis Site. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide janitorial services in an industrial/chemical area. Clean rest rooms/locker rooms and break rooms/lunch rooms as follows: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal and general housekeeping. Maintain inventory of towels and coveralls. Restock paper products. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies. Must be able to mix cleaning solution per instructions by manufacturer. Must adhere to all Plant safety and governmental regulations and attend all mandatory training. DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON‑ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation. REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma or GED. Experience:
One year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment. Minimum of three years’ experience as a chemical and/or pharmaceutical operator or directly related experience/education highly preferred. Other Skills/Qualifications:
Must be able to do simple math, read and write English language. Must be able to work with others in a union team environment. Skills/Competencies:
Must be able to take simple directions and be self‑motivated. WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be physically fit to carry, push or pull 50 pounds. Must be able to work in industrial/chemical environment. This position pays $29.79 per hour. EEO Statement
