Job Title: Medical Director (Part-Time | MAT Program Focus)
Position Summary
We are seeking a forward-thinking, growth-oriented
Medical Director
to provide clinical leadership and support the expansion of our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services. This is a
part-time role (approximately 4–7 hours per week)
ideal for an experienced physician interested in program development, clinical supervision, and staff education within a substance use treatment setting. While much of the role offers flexibility,
daytime availability is required
for staff training and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) supervision.
Key Responsibilities Provide
clinical supervision and oversight
to the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) Conduct
staff trainings
on clinical best practices, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, and MAT-related topics Develop, refine, and implement
policies and procedures
related to Medication-Assisted Treatment Offer
strategic clinical guidance
to support program growth and modernization See clients
on an as-needed basis only
(primary caseload managed by the NP) Ensure clinical practices comply with all
applicable regulatory and licensing requirements
Schedule & Commitment 4–5 hours per week
(estimated) Flexible scheduling with required
daytime availability
for trainings and supervision
Location Remote-friendly
Required Qualifications MD or DO with active medical licensure Strong experience in
Substance Use Disorders (SUD)
and co-occurring mental health conditions Must possess or be
willing to obtain the required SUD designation
in accordance with
OASAS Part 822 regulations Experience with or strong interest in
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
