Cost Center: 682891076 SHP Customer Service Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; day shifts (United States of America) Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative I - Security Health Plan (SHP) primary responsibility is to ensure positive customer interactions with one major product line (Medicare Advantage or Commercial/Marketplace) of Security Health Plan's members. The individual will interact with members, applicants, providers, and agents via telephone. The Customer Service Representative I - SHP will identify the customer's concern and appropriately research and resolve the inquiry in a timely manner. This is a basic learning phase and will be continually trained and coached to enhance customer service skills. The Customer Service Representative I - SHP will escalate complex issues to a Benefit Specialist. Job Qualifications: Education: Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business administration. Experience: Minimum Required: Two years' experience with customer service. Demonstrated proficiency with handling high-pressure situations and with verbal and written communication. Preferred/Optional: Experience working in a health insurance call center. Certifications/Licenses: Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: State of Wisconsin Insurance Agent's license.
