Based on Experience
Location Houston, TX (Relocation assistance will be provided)
Responsibilities Oversee daily dispatching, scheduling, routing, planning, tank monitoring, and inventory reconciliation.
Establish KPIs (on-time delivery %, cost-per-mile, safety scorecards) and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
Ensure real-time visibility of deliveries and inventory using dispatch/logistics software.
Develop and execute a logistics strategy that aligns with company’s growth objectives and market expansion goals across Texas.
Lead initiatives to improve service levels, reduce cost-per-gallon, and optimize route efficiency.
Recruit, train, and mentor dispatchers and logistics support staff.
Work with sales and terminal managers to support large customer contracts, urgent deliveries, and special projects.
Inventory reconciliation
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fuel distribution and logistics
Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance, bulk fuel handling, and terminal operations.
Proven track record in leading teams, implementing logistics technology, and driving cost efficiency.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
