As Director of Operations USA, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations in USA. In this dynamic position, you are responsible for the operations in USA (including production, quality, supply chain and customer service desk). You’ll act as the key liaison with our production partner O-At-Ka Milk Products (OMP) and collaborate closely with teams across the global Creamy Creation organization. This role offers not only substantial strategic and operational responsibility but also presents exciting challenges in stakeholder communication and cross‑functional coordination.

We are primarily looking for someone who will ensure that the supply chain runs smoothly, delivering high‑quality results on time and in full. The focus of this role is on operational excellence and reliable execution. You understand the technical and practical aspects of manufacturing and know how to lead teams to achieve consistent, high‑performance outcomes. You will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer, who is based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Lead the Supply Chain Team

– The team’s responsibilities include the execution of all customer service activities and customer communication as well as overseeing mid‑ and short‑term production planning and scheduling. Additionally, timely procurement of raw materials, adherence to planning commitments on a daily and weekly basis and management of transportation is part of the responsibilities. You proactively identify risks or opportunities to improve and further develop the supply chain.

Manage the S&OP Process

– Coordinate the weekly and monthly S&OP cycle, manage raw material inventories and monitor stock levels (including shelf life).

Primary Contact towards OMP

– Manage, coordinate and communicate with OMP regarding production and planning related topics. Your information, communication and stakeholder management enable fact‑based decisions ensuring quality, while maximizing output and customer satisfaction.

Management of Process Deviations

– You will be responsible for management of process deviations. You will lead evaluation of process deviations supported by technically skilled personnel from Creamy Creation (R&D, QA, Operations). Through your coordination and communication, you ensure informed decision‑making by OMP is possible at all times.

Project Management

– Drive the execution of the CAPEX and expansion programs and manage the project portfolio, realizing agreed targets, timelines and budgets.

Education and Experience

At least 10 years leadership experience in food manufacturing with a high level of technical knowledge and experience.

A MSc or a BSc Degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A solid understanding of manufacturing facilities and processes.

Excellent communication skills, at all levels within our organization and externally.

Strong problem‑solving skills, drive to deliver results.

Experience in leading production and operation teams.

Proven experience using analytics to drive decisions.

Experience with manufacturing process monitoring software.

Positive mindset and ‘whatever it takes’ mentality.

This position concerns an on‑site work arrangement. The position requires periodic travel to other Creamy Creation locations and external parties.

Position Type This is a full‑time salary position. Hours of business are Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm, with occasional after‑hours communication and travel.

This position works in an office & factory setting where noise levels can be loud. Strict adherence to corporate policies, safety guidelines, rules and regulations is required.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk or hear.

Required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Ability to perform light physical work, exerting up to 30 pounds of force on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds of force on an occasional basis, performing such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, and repetitive tasks.

Regularly required to use a computer and phone.

Travel This position will require periodic travel to othery Creation locations, including occasional overnight and international travel.
