Spanish Immersion and Bilingual
Capitalizes on the large influence that nursery rhymes have on early literacy and numeracy
Designed to grow the whole child, addressing the physical, social, emotional, and academic needs of children
Observes the Maryland Early Learning Standards

Center Director Job Description
The Center Director will oversee daily center and program operations by:
Ensuring that center facility is safe for children and complies with state and local laws and regulations, never leaving the center out of ratio
Planning and facilitating professional developments for staff
Conducting staff evaluations
Translating written and spoken correspondence from English to Spanish and visa versa when necessary
Overseeing the proper implementation of program curricula
Interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements.
Completing ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures.
Maintaining positive relationships with children, staff and parents
Working well as a member of collaborative team focused on positive outcomes
Participating in annual calendar events
Conducting regular parent tours, reserving one Saturday per month for tours
Completing other duties as assigned
Other Requirements:
Meet the State Office of Child Care requirements for a director.
Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Practice excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times.
Provide two professional references.
Work Remotely

Salary is based on experience and education. Daycare leadership experience will be weighed more heavily.
Fluent English speaker
