PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Club Director will oversee the planning, implementation, management and evaluation of the club Program at the assigned center. Directs overall daily operations of the designated Club. Primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification
Minimum – Bachelor’sDegree in education or related field
Preferred – Master’sDegree in education or related field
Special Knowledge/Skills
Abilityto maintain positive working relationships with the public and frontline staff
Strongorganization and time management skills
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills
Highdegree of computer proficiency using Microsoft Office

Major Responsibilities and Duties
Organize and work closely withschool administration to implement program
Ensure high-quality programservices and support to enrolled students that meets the Programobjectives in an effective manner
Assure regular studentparticipation, as defined by program requirements, by monitoringattendance and taking steps to ensure that regular student counts are metor exceeded.
Coordinate data entry andevaluation of program at the center
Program Leadership
Establish Club programs, activities andservices that prepare youth for success and that create a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
Ensure a healthy, safe environment, ensuringfacilities, equipment and supplies are maintained.
Ensure that members are encouraged toparticipate in variety of program areas/activities and receive instructionand feedback to develop skills in program area(s)
Oversee proper record keeping and reporting.
Recruit, train, and develop frontline staff toachieve intended objectives
Lead and facilitate ongoing planning effortsincluding community outreach.
Coordinate with community stakeholders toestablish a sustainability plan to be implemented at the conclusion ofgrant funding.
Resource Management
Manage Club financial resources. Controlexpenditures against budget.
Ensure administrative and operational systemsare in place to maintain the operations of the physical properties andequipment of the Club, including the use of facilities by outsidegroups. Ensure compliance with organization policies.
Conduct regular evaluations, conduct regularstaff meetings and provide ongoing feedback regarding employeeperformance.
Partnership Development
Develop partnerships with parents, communityleaders and organizations.
Marketing and Public Relations
Develop and maintain public relations toincrease the visibility of programs, services and activities within theClub and community.
Coordinate outside resources and experientiallearning opportunities to enhance programs.
Conduct tours and host club visits and/orcommunity events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Standard physicalactivity such as periodic standing, walking, sitting, basic motor skills toaccess computer files for information or simple data entry. Occasional travelalong with frequent prolonged and irregular hours. Ability to communicateeffectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data;coordinate campus functions; maintain emotional control under stress. Mayoccasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may bemade to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essentialfunctions.
