Michels Corporation is seeking a Director, Global AI & Data Program to lead enterprise‑wide AI and data strategy. This role oversees global AI and data governance, compliance, and architecture to ensure alignment with corporate goals, regulations, and ethical standards. The Director will define and execute roadmaps for AI, machine learning, and data platforms, ensuring scalability, compliance, and responsible use. By driving trusted, data‑driven decision‑making, this role enables innovation and operational excellence across Michels’ global operations.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field; 10+ years of experience in enterprise AI and/or data governance, architecture, or compliance (or equivalent) 7–10 years of experience managing technical teams and complex governance or architecture functions Knowledge of adaptive AI governance principles to accommodate evolving AI use models Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and compliance Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influence across global, cross‑functional environments Deep knowledge of enterprise AI and data platform ecosystems (e.g., Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI, Databricks, Snowflake) and MLOps frameworks, data governance platforms (Collibra, Informatica), AI model lifecycle management tools Ability to integrate technology and business strategy, especially in an asset‑intensive or field‑driven organization Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint, CoRe, Workday (desired) Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Equal Employment Opportunity
