The Host is responsible for assisting the Sales team by greeting and assisting guests by providing model home coverage when our new home consultants are out of office. This is a part‑time position requiring 20 to 29 hours per week. The position is primarily scheduled during the week, but additional weekend hours may be scheduled based on team needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Greet visitors at model homes.

Distribute current price lists to guests.

Make appointments with the Online Sales Professional or New Home Consultant.

Accurately prepare daily traffic recap and activity sheets.

Tabulate specific information on guest registration forms.

In conventional communities, demonstrate models to visitors, explaining their features and benefits.

Perform related administrative duties, as assigned.

Attend sales training, as required.

Additional administrative projects requested by New Home Consultant/management.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of sales organization preferred

Basic proficiency in using computer systems

Strong verbal, and written communication skills

Team-player and collaborator

Service oriented attitude

Ability to build positive rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as outside the company

Ability to maintain professionalism and a strong customer‑focused demeanor with demanding clientele

Excellent time management skills, detail‑orientation and ability to multi‑task and prioritize work

Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co‑workers throughout the organization

Education and Experience:

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Minimum of 1 year related functional experience preferred
