To learn more, visit .* Leads the design of complex solutions for clients.* Works with Segment Leaders and account teams to craft tailored technical approaches for key proposals – providing architecture oversight, estimating guidance, and ensuring solutions are feasible and robust.* Strengthens the technical capabilities of the team by identifying skill gaps and mentoring junior staff.* Plays a key role in fostering a continuous learning culture and collaborates with solution units to ensure Apex has the talent to deliver on its promises.* Serves as a thought leader in the domain, internally and externally.* Develops domain-focused technical whitepapers, case studies, or speaks at events (in coordination with the CTO) to bolster Apex’s brand as an innovative leader.* Trains and mentors’ internal sales team on relevant technology trends and Apex’s solution offerings so that the whole team can articulate our technical value prop to clients.* Works through partnerships to achieve technical outcomes.* Collaborates closely with SDO capability leaders (e.g., Cloud CoE, Data CoE) to align their roadmaps with industry needs – ensuring capability teams prioritize features or skills that clients require.* Engages strategic vendor partners to incorporate their latest technologies into Apex solutions.* Accountable for technical quality across the domain’s engagements to ensure solution integrity.* Reviews and approves high-level solution designs on major projects to ensure they meet Apex’s standards and the client’s requirements.* Provides troubleshooting guidance for critical delivery challenges* Maintains governance over technical risk with authority to veto or revise technical approaches that pose undue risk and marshal resources to mitigate as needed.* Builds and manages a team of Specialty Internal Practice Consultants (Specialty IPCs); a high-performing team of technologists and architects focused on industry innovation and delivery excellence who enable delivery of outcomes to accounts related to domain.* Sets clear objectives for growth and technical competency.* Coaches IPCs on consultative selling, and technical leadership, instilling a sense of ownership and accountability in meeting their goals.* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.* 15+ years of technology experience, including enterprise architecture and solution development with deep Domain expertise.* Recognized expertise in key technologies and platforms relevant to the vertical and engage in detailed discussion on architecture and integration/* Proven track record of driving innovation, whether through developing new IP, launching new service offerings, or applying emerging technologies to solve problems.* Forward and creative thinker, with a strong grasp of tech trends and the ability to envision practical client applications.* Highly collaborative, skilled at working across functions and influencing teams without direct authority to deliver technical solutions* Effective at guiding product and capability teams to build and deploy needed assets.* Clear and consultative communicator, capable of simplifying complex ideas for business leaders and engaging deeply with technical experts* Experience in public speaking or thought leadership is a plus.* Strong listener, able to translate client needs into actionable solution strategies.* Strategic thinker with commercial awareness, balancing ideal technical solutions with practical constraints like cost and timeline.* Contributes to sales efforts by articulating technology business value, including ROI and client confidence.* Experienced leader and mentor, able to guide architects and consultants in a matrixed environment.* Promotes continuous learning and innovation and leads teams through change as new tools and approach are adopted* Competitive Salary* Health, Dental and Vision Insurance* Health Savings Accounts (HSA) with Employer Contribution* Flexible Spending Accounts* Long and Short-Term Disability* Life Insurance* Voluntary Benefits* Employee Assistance Program* Paid Parental Leave* Wellness Incentives* Vacation and Holiday Pay* 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match* Employee Stock Purchase* Training and Advancement opportunities* Tuition Reimbursement* Birthdays Off* Philanthropic Opportunities* Referral Program* Partial Gym Membership Paid* Team Building Events* Discount Programs*Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
