The Teacher works as a team member to provide a safe and secure environment to enhance a child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development as part of our Texas Rising Star. The Teacher is responsible for co-teaching with other educators in the center, organizing and planning a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on center's philosophy and Texas Rising Star guidelines.

Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM
Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education — OR — a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies and Human Development.
Upon hire: Background Check Clearance by the TX Department of Social Services.
Upon hire: No convictions related to child abuse, offenses against persons, sexual offenses, child neglect, felony offenses involving controlled substances, or any other offenses bearing substantial relation to the qualifications, functions of duties of an employee of a child care facility.
2 or more years of experience teaching in a licensed childcare facility caring for children 6 months up to 18 months of age in a Texas Child Care Facility licensed within the last two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certificate
Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
