About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of inspiring people of faith to create a more just, equitable, and peaceful world. The successful candidate will be a mission-focused, energetic, and strategy-minded leader with a strong background in relationship-building, national audience engagement, and excellent speaking and writing skills. The role involves leading a high-performing team, maintaining a strong relationship with the Board of Directors, and representing the organization to all constituencies. The Executive Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for significant organizational growth, supervising staff, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and cultivating the values of the organization.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a degree in theology (preferred) and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in nonprofit, community service, religious, or educational organizations. The role requires a candidate with a demonstrated passion for the social justice message of the Gospel, a commitment to the organization's vision and values, and the ability to engage with diverse Christian denominations. Key qualifications include experience in building and nurturing relationships with partners and major donors, success in marketing strategy development, and a broad understanding of business functions. The ideal candidate will possess leadership traits such as collaboration, integrity, and the ability to navigate the complexities of various church structures. The position also demands a high level of business acumen, including successful P&L management, and the ability to balance program delivery with budgetary realities.
