Responsibilities 1. Deliver overall targets/goals of the region including service delivery, workforce engagement, biomed support, revenue, and expense while maintaining compliance with corporate governance and public accountability.

2. Work with division fundraising & development leadership to achieve fundraising goals across the assigned region, developing strategies and efforts to grow resources.

3. Build and cultivate strong external relationships with key organizations and community leaders, including donors, blood sponsors, governments, corporations, civic organizations, military, and other agencies.

4. Ensure strong visibility for the American Red Cross in the regional jurisdiction, increasing community awareness and commitment through media and social media communications consistent with regional and national strategies.

5. Build a strong collaborative environment across all lines of service and business units, providing leadership and strategy for improved performance and communicating community needs to the lines of service.

6. Build regional capacity for service delivery through program development and engagement and retention of volunteers and partners, ensuring consistent, responsive, and timely delivery of high‑quality services and engaging youth and young adults through Red Cross Clubs.

7. Oversee board members and community volunteer leaders within an assigned region, building and guiding activities of chapter boards and ensuring diversity, representation, and effective service delivery.

Qualifications Education

– Bachelor’s degree required. Prefer Master’s in community organization, public or business administration, or nonprofit management.

Experience

– Minimum 7 years related experience in the profit or not‑for‑profit sector in business, sales, or corporate administration.

Management Experience

– Minimum 5 years directing a workforce and program management responsibilities.

Skills & Abilities

– Shape, lead, motivate and develop leadership teams, work on a diverse team of executives, demonstrate ability to develop effective work teams and build consensus, exercise good and timely judgments in complex situations, possess strong communication and influencing skills, implement fundraising strategies, proven track record in raising significant financial resources, and work on a team.

Travel

– Regular regional travel required up to 25%. This position is NOT eligible for relocation assistance.

Compensation Salary range: $185,000 – $195,000 with incentive.
