The program has been approved by the ACGME and will welcome the inaugural class in July 2027.This physician will have responsibility to identify and implement the clinical and educational goals for pediatric emergency medicine, while collaborating with our partners at Oklahoma State University to achieve educational, academic, and research goals. This physician will build a leadership team to develop and support the PEM fellowship program and serve as liaison with the ACGME. In addition to clinical service, academic responsibilities for the PEM Fellowship Medical Director role will include teaching multiple levels of learners.### Pediatric Emergency Department:* 34,000 annual volume* 28 hours of physician coverage, 30 hours of APP coverage* Staffed by Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians* Region's only Children's Hospital* 19% admission rate* 23 treatment rooms & 2 triage stations
