Suncoast Creative Marketing Team Lead is a dynamic, hands‑on creative professional responsible for shaping content and creative strategy while actively contributing to design and production. This role is deeply involved in the creation, execution, and delivery of high‑impact marketing assets across digital and traditional channels. Reporting directly to the Director of Creative Marketing Experience, the Team Lead acts as a strategic partner, ensuring alignment on design concepts and flawless execution. The position combines expertise in graphic design, content development, and email marketing with leadership skills to guide the creative team and deliver innovative, brand‑consistent campaigns that engage and inspire. Success in this role requires a strong design background, technical proficiency with creative tools, and the ability to translate marketing goals into compelling visual solutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the hands‑on creative and content lead for all marketing output, actively designing high‑quality visual marketing assets while guiding the overall creative vision

Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the creative team and the Director of Creative Marketing Experience, ensuring alignment on creative concepts and deliverables

Translate marketing objectives into compelling creative concepts and final design assets, overseeing execution across digital and traditional marketing channels

Support the development and execution of creative and content strategies that align with marketing objectives and brand standards, driving graphic design innovation and consistency

Collaborate with designers, writers, and email specialists to ensure cohesive messaging and strong visual storytelling throughout campaigns

Champion brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring every asset adheres to guidelines and communicates effectively

Review creative work at key stages to ensure strategic alignment, brand integrity, and design excellence

Partner with marketing strategists and internal stakeholders to integrate creative solutions into broader campaigns, optimizing impact and engagement

Utilize HTML design best practices to support the creation of email campaigns that enhance member experience

Advocate for user experience and visual storytelling principles to elevate engagement across platforms

Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise

Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge

Complete annual compliance and information security training to understand employees' role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design, fine arts, or a related creative discipline

Minimum 3 years of experience in a creative role, preferably within a marketing department, creative agency, or similarly fast‑paced environment

A compelling portfolio showcasing creative excellence, with a strong focus on marketing campaigns that effectively align with business objectives through impactful copy and branding

Solid understanding of creative principles and workflows (e.g., design, content development, visual storytelling), with a proven ability to provide hands‑on support and direction to creative teams

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry‑standard design tools

Understanding of HTML/CSS for creative output

Demonstrated success in managing the end‑to‑end production of diverse marketing assets, including digital ads, social media content, email campaigns, websites, print collateral, and multimedia

Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines

Accurate, detail‑oriented, and organized with task management

Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators

Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures

Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance

Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties
